                                      Looks like you only have a 32 bit CPU in that machine. Your trying to install a 64 bit distro.</description>

                                      Rescatux (LXF166 - Jan 2013 - DVD) fails on load with error:&lt;br /&gt;

     Unable to boot - please use a  kernel appropriate for your CPU.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;

I have a DELL Optiplex GX280 that has an Intel Pentium 4.&lt;br /&gt;
The computer was originally installed with Windows-XP  Professional.&lt;br /&gt;
Ununtu 10.04 LTS runs with no problems on this computer with no special drivers required.&lt;br /&gt;
I'm trying to recover a hard drive with Fortran (yeah-yeah!!) Fortran code.</description>
