I have a ThinkPad T60 and trying to install opensuse 12.2,
without sucess.
1- keep getting error 1008 and 3030 when suse tries to format the drive.
2- I keep ignoring this error and finally, it starts the installation but locks up
sometimes, running out of space, 50GB on laptop.
3- Why can't I select a partition that I formatted using kde partition manager?
4- If I use all the default settings, suse sets the root part 16GIG and the
remaining space for the home part, on my laptop, 50GB, on my tower
over 500GB.
5- Is there a way to select my own formated partition, suse insists to
format partitions and I continue to get error 1008 and 3030.

I installed many distros on this laptop and never get those errors when I format and chose what partition to install.
