                                      Also try &quot;ls -la --color=always&quot; this will colour code the results. Try &quot;ls --help&quot; for all the options.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Note: There are 2 dashes - with no gap in front of help and color, also note the &quot;American&quot; spelling of colour.</description>

What do you need to see ?&lt;br /&gt;
Check out the man pages for ls and see if any of the options do what you want.</description>

As a newbie:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I know that ls -l list files in a directory.Can i get a Bash script &lt;br /&gt;
that prints the same information as ls -l but ib a user friendly way?&lt;br /&gt;
