I have a Creative WebCam NX Ultra, it works with the spca5xx driver. The best app for testing a webcam is GnomeMeeting. Good luck!javascript:emoticon('')

Have you tried looking on the ZoneMiner web site. There are a lot of questions and answers about what cameras are compatible on their forums.
Any idea which chipset it has? if you can find that out then its easier to know. Stay well away from Trust Webcams. I hvae a Trust 120 Spacec@m and it took about 6 months of fiddling to get working. Hvaing said that it works better on Linux than in windows, althoigh sadly thats not saying much

                                      Hiya...

I am think of getting the following web camera:

http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=3NPH&SearchType=1&CategorySelectedId=11033&SearchTerms=creative&PageMode=3&SearchKey=All&SearchMode=All&NavigationKey=50450,11033

But I'm not paying £50 for it so will probably get it off ebay...anyway I'll move on...basically has anyone got this webcam, and is it operational?

If not does anyone know of a decent camera with all the mod-cons that do work? I'm very tempted to stay with brands, like creative, logitech et al as they make me feel safe....lol:shock:

Thanks,
