                                      You need to set a Samba password separately from your Linux one. If you use SWAT to control Samba via a web browser  you can add Samba users &amp;amp; passwords that way.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Of course, there's nothing to stop you having the same password for both...</description>

                                      I have a little problem with samba on SUEE 9.3 Pro &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1: Every time I access my windows XP form SAMBA it ask for my xp user name and password. Wonded if there was a way to cash it or store it so I dont have to keep entering it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2:I can't get access to any of the shares on the linux pc. It promps me for my Linux username and password. I set up another  user called remote and password remote but sutill i could not connect.. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Is there any way i can set my XP user name and Linux user name as the same so i can jst click and drag.....&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I tryed setting them to both the same but it still did not worlk&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
am I just doing some thing stupped...</description>
