On a recent upgrade I have noticed that HP printers are now much better supported with a proper HP device manager; I know Epson are sponsoring someone to research printer interfaces. Are there other printer manufacturers taking a real interest in supporting their printers on Linux and thus changing the ways we need to solve problems?

Since subscribing I have been looking closer at the tutorials and find that the printing one has disappeared.

Can you please advise when it will return as I presume that it is being updated. I am keen to see if I can learn more particularly in networking from Ubuntu.
