Seriously, leke, what is it about Python that people like so much? I suppose because it's so fast to get things done once you're used to it?

Yeah, pretty much, but also having a huge community writing tons on examples/tutorials/modules is really helpful to a beginner like me.

Hi...

I rather like Python in its pre-3.xx form even with its convoluted
syntax.

Versions 3.0 and greater are even more convoluted in their
syntax now.
