                                      Are you talking about moving the application or the files created with it?&lt;br /&gt;
As for the application, if it is not available for the distro in question, it may be because there a re unfulfillable dependencies.&lt;br /&gt;
If it is the files, copying your /home folder is often enough.</description>

                                      Yes, just install it on your new distro like you did on the old.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Distros are not all alike, software moves on, so it is quite likely not possible to actually move an app - and it's a bad idea even if you could.</description>

                                      I'm not sure what you mean, you can install most programs on any distro you like, usually through the appropriate installer: Synaptic on Debian, Yast on Suse, Yum on Fedora etc.</description>

                                      How can I take an application on one distro(eg. libraoffice) and move it to my current distro.</description>
