                                      To check whether it is a bug in the video driver (as you half suspect by talking about a re-install), try running a live CD distro to see if the colour cast persists (should be obvious).  If it persists, then it is a hardware fault.</description>

                                      Sounds like the blue (or cyan &amp;amp; magenta) colour circuitry could have died. Try an external monitor (your TV set?) and see if that is OK.</description>

                                      Hi All,&lt;br /&gt;
Something different has just happened, while I was downloading some Photo's which were sent by a friend, my desktop suddenly changed to a Yellow Hue,&lt;br /&gt;
I have tried re-starting the laptop, but to no avail, I also keep getting the message &amp;quot;System fault detected, I thought that 12.04.1corrected this&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
I really don't want to re-install unless I have to,&lt;br /&gt;
as always all help, ideas, opinions greatly appreciated.&lt;br /&gt;
