I was referring to an article in LXF 117 for help in setting up Samba but found quite a lot has changed. SWAT is now not installed and not recommended; smbmount is no more - replaced by cifs-utils. I found a lot of wrong advice on the web because it seems that the deprecation of smbmount is recent, so it would be good if you did an up-to-date article.
