Hi!

I recently installed Ubuntu 12.04 into a new Asus p8z77-v (i7, 12Gb ram). Everything worked without problems (video, sound, wifi, etc...)

Regards,

It's about 3 or 4 years since I bought a motherboard, so I am completely out of touch. One of my motherboards has reached it's end of life, the integrated nVidia graphics are no longer supported. I could just buy another graphic card, but maybe it's time for a new motherboard.

It is a general desktop machine, but doesn't really do anything beyond web browsing and photo viewing. Main requirements are either Intel graphics, or nVidia and something that "just works" with Linux.

Suggestions please.
