I'm not sure exactly how much of a v4l problem this is as I think that for the most part, it may relate to the program I'm using. I'm trying to use a sample video capture program to test a webcam using the Leeds Real Time Image processing library (www.comp.leeds.ac.uk/vision), test-displayImage program with a Phillips webcam, which was detected as /dev/video0.

The program was set to use this as a video4linux source, but it only produces a grey screen or half grey, half black screen. Does anyone know what might be going on?
