The fglrx driver should be able to give you 3D with that chipset (from reports I have seen). I don't know if Mandriva has that driver or not but it should be easily obtainable from ATi's website.

                                      Howdy

Does anybody know where I can get a driver for this card??
I have tried using the ones from ATI's web site, but the Mobility X300 isn't listed in any of their Linux drivers.

I have tried the RPM file and the installer, both fail.
At the minute, Mandriva reports my card as an M300, with NO Direct Rendering, despite trying the fglrx driver.
If I can get it going then I can finally eradicate the Windoze menace on there and run "Edge of Chaos" from Cedega
