Hi

After two years of what seemed to be non development xvidcap has been released and works perfect under dapper!, this release brings a re-desinged front end and many bug fixes also the Xt UI has now been fully removed and instead of using gvidcap to start the application one can now type xvidcap and enjoy making tutorials etc etc

http://xvidcap.sourceforge.net

a little note for those who will compile form source and are running KDE you will need lame0, liblame-dev, libgtk2.0-dev, libgnomeui and libglade.
