Might just be me but that seems like very bad grammar, and technically wrong, you use a computer you don't compute, whats the point in having a computer if you have to do all the computing for it???

It's not surprising you got it today, Judy, considering you work for that retailer. You only had to go down to the storeroom. Or is it just a coincidence that you have a computergear.com email address? I don't see them being handed out for free!

You know, you could've said "Hey all, just a gift idea for a fellow Linuxer -- we sell big cuddly penguins. Drop me a line if you want more info" and that wouldn't have been too spammish. But pretending to be some random customer is really sad.

Well, I wondered, but it's moderatley intelligent spam if so. Not trying to sell something entirely unrelated to Linux. Also, as forum members are allowed some reference to Linux related business activities in their sig, I didn't think it was worth worrying about.
If judyk came back posting lots of other commercial links, especially off-topic, then I'd point it out to Mike and let him decide.
