Well, at least with a die, you would have a 1 in 6 chance of getting the result you were aiming for.

Boole could never rhyme with goolie, although Boolie could

But if you're referring to the pronunciation of the oo, they pronounce them the same in pool and goolie round here

I think it may be along the lines of 'ball', as in ball+e+an. Now you never know, someone may have been hanging out for that. But an even more interesting question would be, why ... A trick question though.

pool obviosly, yes i meant "or" as in

Code:

open(MANDRIVA, "mandriva") || die "cannot open $!\n";

so i suppose i could have wrote MANDRIVA || die but i didn't, i thought i might be having another sig edited for using pop lyrics

Not being from the planet Bool, I did not want to contradict whatever they might choose to call themselves. Perhaps it's even planet Boole, I just don't know

Really 1sf, Mike means the "MANDRIVA || DIE" part of your sig, or are you being deliberately thick? I don't know what happens if you pipe something twice, but I expect it ought to get there in half the time.
