If you use XP, you can try this virtualbox for windows, ubuntu can work fine as guest.

Hi-

Did anyone have any problems after installing virtual box in XP following the coding issue of the magazine with XP as host, ubuntu as guest.

I suspect it cloned my disk and I lost my normal repair etc. options. I have now replaced XP with Vista and resolved the problem, but would be interested in feedback.
