I've been working through the Whack-a-mole/Python/Pygame article by Nick Vietch in last month's LXF. Unfortunately, the cover disk is somewhere in my... erm... filing system. Even more unfortunately, the code printed in the article is incomplete and incorrect. I'm hoping that the cover disk contains a working version. Without this, the value of the tutorial pretty much vanishes to zero, and I'm reduced to figuring it out from first principles via the pygame documentation.
So - is the code available anywhere on-line? If not, maybe someone could post the working version of whackamole.py here in the forum? (Note: I'm assuming the code is free, but if not, I'm not suggesting anyone do anything they shouldn't.) |

Hi,
What's the issue number? "Last month" can mean different things to different people, depending on which issue they've just received. Subscribers can access the disc through the archives, but if you post the number, I (or someone else) can send you the code.

| Thanks. It's June 2011. (I've already finished reading the July issue, so it's definitely last month for me!) |
