I installed Debian/64bit/xfce on another partition on my Arch HD. Now when I select to use Debian, part of the information that I see on the screen while it is loading says something like: FAIL: No suitable input module found.
Then when the OS loads and I get to the login screen it is obvious no input module was found because I can't move the mouse or type.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks,
Randy

Have you had a first boot of this new install if not why not just re install. You may have make a wrong selection during the install.

You are correct. I won't lose anything. I was hoping to learn a little while fixing this problem. I guess I am off to reinstall.

I tried reinstalling three different times - three different isos and different desktop env. Still same problem. I'm baffled.
