desperately trying to replace the factory-installed Xandros/Debian 4.0, which is horrendous & isnt supported anymore, but my EeePC1000 simply refuses to boot from either USB (I made a bootable drive with Unetbootin - it ignored it), or DVD, even though I've changed the boot order in the setup menu. (tried to use Fedora12 from an old copy of LXF, Feb2010)
can someone please help??? |

Even though you have set boot priority in the BIOS, you may still need to press a key at boot to get the USB to boot, as I do with my Novatech X10 (I press F11). Have a good look through all your paperwork and booklets for the netbook; you may find something similar. _________________ Xubuntu 12.04 user, and loving it! |
