Which I didn't do tonight.
Having got home and sat down at my computer, I thought I'd check for updates, although apt-get update didn't take too long to run, there were some 10 packages to be upgraded (43.3MB). Okay, answered Y to apt-get upgrade, and it's still downloading 20 minutes later. It's like flippin' dial-up.
Do you see what I did there? I forgot that today is an Ubuntu release day. Bu99er! _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Another argument for rolling releases _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

| Was talking with a chum yesterday and after updating to the latest Ubuntu he installed Fedora over it. Seems he had a falling out with Unity. |

A lot of people seem to be having a fall out with 11.10. Is it just unity causing it? I know I fell out of love with Kubuntu with 11.10, but since I think I'm the only person who was using it...
And it's also why my netbook hasn't been "upgraded". _________________ AMD PHENOM II X6, 14 GB DDR3, 500 GB hd, 1GB nVidia card, running Linux Mint 14 KDE / Win 7. Damn thing keeps breaking.
eeepc 1015PX, 1.66 Ghz Intel atom processor, 2 GB DDR3, 320 GB hd running Mint 14 MATE. Running great. |

I like Unity, and it seems to be maturing nicely. _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

Currently upgrading on my netbook as that is what unity seems to work best on... 11 hours remaining... _________________ For certain you have to be lost to find the places that can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was |

At least I don't live in a field.
Only took an hour on my netbook. _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!
