comes through the door and the book section now takes second place...
Chris Boby, if you are reading this then your "epically slow printer" is
infinitely faster than mine... ;oO
It is a 1984 Brother M1109 originally connected serially to my Sinclair QL
but now permanently parallel connected to my A1200. ;oO
This machine has a new dimension on the word SSLLOOWW... ;oD

Ah! That explains your reflection in my monitor in Geek desktop in LXF150.

Yay it's my desktop!
Bazza - your printer is still working though. I bet when mine gets as old as yours it will be dead. And if I get one of these newfangled ones it will die even quicker. So therefore the slower the printing speed, the longer its life
