If you mean the distro he uses, that is named by those that produce it, it is not up to Linus to give it a name.
Anyway, you've got no more chance of getting people to stop calling it Linux than you have of getting people to stop calling their vacuum cleaner a hoover. The war is lost.

My point entirely. Though I do feel sorry for anybody called Henry Hoover who tries to google themselves.
