I've read about it a couple of times now in different articles. On the one hand it talks about being a lightweight QT desktop, on the other, dependency on KDE apps is often mentioned. I wonder how those two can be reconciled?
Given that some distros offer a minimal KDE installation, I'm not sure how much benefit is to be had from Razor-qt.

Edit: I've also split this from the original thread as it has nothing to do with Gnome2 or MATE and this is Discussion, not Off Topic.
