Hello,
I am trying to install 'Simon' a voice recognition software on ubuntu 11.10 but it shows error, 'Dependency not satisfiable, libqt4 - multimedia (>=4:4.6.1 )'.

Please advise how do I rectify this.

It's not that complicated. The link from that page contains all the commands you need, just paste them from your browser into a terminal window.

Compiling is not really that difficult.
It may be scary, but so is anything you have not done before.

There appears to be an i386.deb for it on the Source Forge page for simon. If you dig a little deeper, there is a 64 bit package, too. See if these will bring you any joy.
