Hello,
I am trying to install 'Simon' a voice recognition software on ubuntu 11.10 but it shows error, 'Dependency not satisfiable, libqt4 - multimedia (>=4:4.6.1 )'.
Please advise how do I rectify this.
Thank you _________________ Narendra |

Thank you very much for your reply.
It's complicated, can not compile from the source, I'll leave it. _________________ Narendra |

It's not that complicated. The link from that page contains all the commands you need, just paste them from your browser into a terminal window. _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

+1 for nelz.
Compiling is not really that difficult.
It may be scary, but so is anything you have not done before. _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

| There appears to be an i386.deb for it on the Source Forge page for simon. If you dig a little deeper, there is a 64 bit package, too. See if these will bring you any joy. |
