|

I've written a small GUI for a command line process and wish to give it out, including the source. I can't see it needing to have a continuing updates, etc. So, my questions are:
1. Which License should I use?
2. Where should I release it?
I'm up to beating it around here and using it on a regular basis. Need to rattle it around some more and then clean up the code a bit. So, any thoughts or suggestions welcomed.
Thanks in advance. |

1. GPL if you want to promote the free software spirit and make sure that any forks also remain open source. Or BSD if you just want a simple "do what you like, but give me credit" alternative.
2. Set up a SourceForge page, and once you've made a release, post on freecode.com
Good luck!
