Hi
Not sure if it is the right forum so move if needed
I just received an email from "Techradar" informing me that their reigstration database has been compromised.
Is that true? I have changed my password in case but since I see nothing on this forum about it I am wondering if is not a spam? |

It's Techradar, not Tuxradar. The LXF forums and so on are hosted separately to those of the other Future magazines that fall under the Techradar banner. Otherwise we'd all be forced to use those pug-ugly forums they have over there. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

I too received the email from TechRadar yesterday.
Amazing, isn't it, you would think a "tech" site, of all sites, would have their security better locked down!
The last sentence of the email says:
"We take the security of your data extremely seriously and we apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Perhaps not quite seriously enough. |

Meh. Still down.
I don't see many tears being shed though. |
