I would say it is a matter of oppinion.
and I have not tested any of thouse two, so I could not say my oppinion in thus case.
My favorite is Gentoo though.
Slackware is also nice. _________________ I am the one you thought I was! Just not the way, you expected... |

Well with both Gentoo and Slackware, I like the control I have. I can configure everythings to my liking.
And with Gentoo I especaly like the portage system, That makes it easy and fast to "emerge" pakages.
It also keep track of dependelcys, witch Slackware (out of the box) dose not.
And ofcourse i can still override it if I want _________________ I am the one you thought I was! Just not the way, you expected... |
