Am looking for a Windows 7 app, that will allow me to mount my Linux partitions in Windows please; a personal recomendation. Will be looking for r/w access to the Linux partitions. tia from Sinbad.

First decide which format(s) you want to access - there are a number, some of which can be accessed and some which cannot.

Ext2fsd now supports read/write on ext4.

+1 for Ext2FSD, it even works on Windows 8.
