I've seen no ads for months. Years even. Ah... The joy of Adblock Plus... Laughing

I turned off AdBlock recently, the ads came back but now they've gone. I didn't notice until you mentioned it.

It could be that someone forgot to put a shilling in the meter (those were the days when you could pay for electricity in shillings)! Maybe someone forgot to put the right piece of code in and its gone world-wide - oops!

Who cares whilst the adverts are gone we can enjoy the peace of not getting our eyes frosted by something that wants to empty our bank accounts...!

I see no adverts, on FF9 withno Adblock.

I had not noticed. Did there used to be adverts? As you mention it, I do see spaces where they might have been. Just goes to show how effective they are (not), with me anyway.

I think I have an automatic mental block against adverts, unless (as on some sites) they pop up and obstruct what I am trying to look at, in which case they merely pi$$ me off; even then I am unlikely to notice the brand.

Same here. Is that good or bad? I find it way better without ads.

And what's best is no spam posting, we deal with that sort of thing really quickly.
