Change to Caja

Postby heiowge » Tue Feb 18, 2014 10:28 pm

How can I make Caja the default file manager in Mint 16 MATE 32bit?

I don't mind Nemo, but find Caja works just the way I like. Problem is that I have both, and the system seems to prefer Nemo. I don't want to get rid of Nemo, just change the system priorities.

Had a similar issue with MATE on fedora 20 only Nautilus was the default have a look at preferred apps in the System menu IIRC set it to Caja BTW I really like it's embedded terminal plug-in quite handy :D

Enjoy the Choice :)
