This assumes you use just one of each. For research Konqueror is by far the slickest browser but for non research work I often use chromium.

For multimedia I tend to use Kaffeine.

Secure Boot seems more about collecting license fees from Linux servers than replacing them: "If we can't sell them an OS license, let's make a profit from the box some other way."
