| Is it possible to get the width of the page to fit the browser window? |

What screen resolution are you using? The horizontal scrollbar appears in resolutions lower than 1024x768 -- but that's the most common screen setup thesedays. The left and right-hand columns have to be of a static width, but even if I changed the middle column to be fully resizable, it'd be too thin to read!

That used to drive me psycho in the old site (grin), but with the "Lite" css style selected and a customized stye sheet to replace its defaults ... it works really well. Long links still kill it though. The maincustomisation was getting the "Quick Reply" box to just fit my width.

Strangly, when not logged in, that third column appears - advertising the magazine - and seems to be the culprit. This dissapears when logged in and page width is not a problem - Duh!! |

Use a custome style sheet, dloade the url from a cached page thingy path. If your browser suppourts local css overrides. Set the Quick Reply Box to your width ... bam bam, works for me ...

hmmm, can't very well down load a url, but the style sheet in use can be looked at if it is wgeted. Using the url reference from a saved page. If the browser supports using a custom style sheet of course.
