Hi,

I thought it was about time that I updated the firmware on my router. It says on Netgear's site, that Mozilla Firefox may not work properly with its routers. I notice that several releases of firmware are available.

Firstly, has anyone had problems using Mozilla/ Firefox with Netgear kit (I can log-on fine)

Secondly, does anyone know whether the firmware upgrades need to be done in sequence, or can I just use the latest one?

Many thanks,

Chris.

I think you'll find the Firefox problem is the IPv6 compatibility thing, not an inability to Firefox to connect to the router's admin page.

I have a v2 model which after upgrade started intermittantly dropping connections. Remedied by (sledgehammer approach?) resetting the router to Factory Defaults and re- entering login details, etc..
