Lo all,
I've turned off commenting on news stories for now -- they're being overwhelmed with spambots. However, I'll look into captcha or a similar system so that hopefully we can re-enable them soon.
In the meantime, feel free to chat about current Linux events in the Discussion forum!

Well, it's clearly all to do with this web site, and temporary disability seems to have afflicted several of us in resolving this issue, so I rest my case.
