Just browsing the SUSE package repos and noticed that many of the unsupported KDE packages were bearing a 3.5.5 number. Sure enough, a trip over to kde.org reveals that KDE3.5.5 was released today.
Might get around to updating tomorrow night, I suppose. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

The new KDE is available to PASS users from PCLinuxOS (in unstable). There has been only one reported bug in the PCLOS mailing list, and that involves using Web authoring software to edit a CSS file. Texstar has reported that the nice people at KDE have issued a patch which he said he was going to add to his packages last night.
The only other problems reported are ones involving having to redo a small number (2-3) of your KDE settings which got returned to default. _________________

As I know where to look, it's quicker than loading up YaST, letting it refresh my on-line repos, just to see if there are any updates. Honestly Marrea, do you think I have time to browse randomly through ftp mirrors every night of the week?
That's what the weekends are for _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Further to my earlier post, KDE3.5.5 is now in stable at PCLinuxOS with the aforementioned patch in place. _________________
