I am sure I am not the only person with a messy desk, and if that is the case I'm almost certainly not the only one hearing about ti daily.
So how messy is your desk? mine is pictured below, but to be fair I have been working on a few scripts today.
Anyone with a messier desk? _________________ Need a New Signature |

hmmm that looks like a lexmark z515 printer, if it is it's in a better state than mine.

Here's one I prepared earlier, like OCT 2005, but it hasn't changed at all.
As for messy, you can't miss the massive coffee mug ring to the left of the keyboard, horrendous!
EDIT:
changed to link rather than embed it, a little big otherwise:

Well, I'd photograph mine if I could find the camera. Bit's of computer and other stuff all over the place at the moment. Good job I live on my own.
Edit: As for nordle and jdtate101, you're supposed to be showing how messy it is, not showing off _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

The printer in mine is a Z605. I don't use it all that much really.
Nordle: Far, far too tidy.
Don't you people with monitors at an angle to your keyboard/mouse get a bad neck? _________________

I took some pictures and stuck them up here:
http://new.photos.yahoo.com/jostebowen/album/576460762388303228
but I can't see them.
I can't see any photos I have there in Konqueror, some of them but not all are visible in Firefox, you may have better luck. I shall try in ie from work tomorrow and if that works a stern letter of complaint is in order. |

No I sit at an angle when I use the PC so the screen is straight in front of me, then my arms go off at a slught angle, when I get around to buying a TFT then it will be in front of the monitor.
Joste: Apparantly there aren't any shared in that album. _________________ Need a New Signature |

Joste: it says, "This album could be empty (from your perspective) for several reasons. The friend could have deleted its photos, made them private, or removed them from the album.". Is the folder/files set to public or private viewing?
Ben: Ok I see what you mean... I tried that once, but couldn't get the right posture as the desk stopped the chair going so far, so it was awkward to work, hence the straight-in-front approach _________________

Ur lucky to have a chair I sit on two boxes full of cds and dvd's, we dont have room in the apartment for my old PC cahir, the main issue is if I have been sat on the PC for a bit trying to work a problem/bug out and then solve it I will quite often lean back fogetting that there is no back to my 'stool'. You can guess the results _________________ Need a New Signature |

The subject line is "How tidy is your desk". I think I answered it.

And I read the first post, which makes obvious the ironic intention of the word "tidy" in the thread title, so there _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Here's my desktop:
http://ta248aj.drobe.co.uk/Desktop800x600.jpg
The reason the left half of the desk is so organised is that I only put that recently finished computer there yesterday.
On the right half there is a 286 somewhere with my dot matrix balanced on it.
Couldn't get it in the photo but there is a Casio keyboard propped up against some boxes with laptops stacked up against it and there's a couple of monitors and many cables under the table.
And the sandwich isn't there all the time. In fact, it's gone now.
