I have just installed Ubuntu on my Dell Dimension 4200 PIII 1GHz machine. It came with a Sanata Cruz sound card and I have no sound, nor can I find a Linux driver for that card. Is there a workaround that will give me sound, short of buying a new card ? |

| Turtle Beach have never been "Linux compatible" and the sound cards supplied to Dell have different drivers again. Try the Dell site (but I couldn't find anything), but the best bet is a Creative sound card, even a cheap Sound Blaster Live! or Sound Blaster Audigy 2 card will make life much easier with Linux. |
