I have set one up to stream out it's live video over port 1024 and have built a web page to accept the stream on the client side. To get this to work I had to open a port on my firewall (belkin ADSL wireless modem) and NAT to the cam. However I would prefer to have it fed directly into my apache server and served out through there, without having to open the ports on the firewall (ie cam is not directly visable from outside world).
Anyone here done the same sort of thing??? Also I have read that this cam uses a modifed Linux kernel, anyone got any more info on this?
Running SuSE9.2 with apache2. |
