Is there an RSS feed for the new blog?

When I click on the orange RSS button on the firefox bar on "http://www.linuxformat.com/blog" I get redirected to "http://www.linuxformat.com/rss_feed" but get a "Page not found" error.

I'd like to be able to see blog posts in Google Reader.

Thanks!

Hi finster,

Try: feed://www.linuxformat.com/rss.xml

That should give a feed of the Blog entries. If some folks could make sure that works, I'll add an RSS icon to the site interface.

RSS for the forums requires a bit more work, but I'll be looking into that today.

Cheers!
Mike

Doesn't seem to work with 'My Yahoo!'. I get the following error when I try to add it as an RSS feed:

"Please enter a valid URL and try again."

Clicking on the link gives me an error (not a 404, but similar) in IE6 on Windows. (I'm at work, I have no choice.)

Cheers,

Peter

I think you need to change the url to http://www.linuxformat.com/rss.xml at least that is what I had to do to get it to work in Thunderbird Rolling Eyes

Thanks towy71. It didn't work, but I experimented a bit and found that this does work:

http://www.linuxformat.co.uk/rss.xml

Note the change from .com to .co.uk

All is fine and dandy now!

Cheers,

Lo,

Both (.com and .co.uk) work fine for me -- no reason they should be any different as they both point to the exact same IP address!

Hmm. Do you mean that they both worked with 'My Yahoo!'?

I just tried doing it in Firefox (still on Windows) and the .com version worked. It wouldn't work on IE in the office, though.
