Yes Mike. You can crawl out from underneath your rock now
(PS: yes I did see the ceremony, but apart from 2 female artists the last "pop-concert" part was a waste of time... Sorry ) |

I only noticed because it ruined the BBC2 schedule, why don't they just rename it BBC Sport and put me out of my misery. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

One thing of note....who won the most gold medals? Who set a record for the most gold medals won by a host nation? Who set a record for the most gold medals ever won?
No apologies for any of those _________________ I cannot deny anything that I did not say. |

So the country organising it won the most golds? That doesn't sound at all fishy... _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

Given that the Canadians restricted access to practice facilities for other teams to the bare minimum set out by each sport's governing body, then took the rest of the time for themselves, its hardly surprising.
Their behaviour makes this a rather hollow accomplishment, and makes Amy Williams' Gold all the more impressive.
They even went to the lengths of complaining (twice) about the design of Williams' helmet. Both complaints were rejected.

That the organising country won the most golds? Somehow, I don't think so _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |
