|

Hi folks,
i was wondering if anyone can help? I am at present running a Dell M782p 17 inch monitor on my Precision workstation. (Distro. - Mandrake 10.1) I am using a Radeon 7000 VE Dual head card, so am able to run two monitors, I have just gotten hold of a Iiyama Vision Master Pro 21inch which has literally the exact scan rates. i. e . Dell Horiz. 30-85 Vert. 50-160 / Iiyama Horiz. 24.8-94.0 Vert. 50-160. What I would like to know is how can I share a Desktop between monitors instead of the Iiyama just cloning the Dell Deskyot as it is doing just now. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated, even just some good links about setting it up, all help greatly received,
Yours
T.I.A.

From here:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/archive/18/2004/10/1/151911
found this:
| Quote: | Added the monitorlayout line to the device config:
Section "Device"
# no known options
Identifier "Radeon 7500 QWfoo"
Driver "radeon"
VendorName "ATI Industries"
BoardName "ATi Radeon 7500 QW"
BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
Screen 0
Option "MonitorLayout" "CRT, CRT"
EndSection |
