Do you chaps suppose you could have a single id/pwd for the forum and the subscriber area? With some flag to indicate whether paid-up subscriber or not?

Hi John,

The subscriber data comes from a completely different source, and so many people have accounts for one thing (subs or forum) and not the other, that attempting to merge the two would be monumentally complex and throw up all sorts of problems. If we were building the entire operation (mag, subs, site) totally from scratch it'd be doable, but for now you'll just have to keep a forum account I'm afraid!
