Then why don't you post her one? _________________ Join GiffGaff and get £5 free credit |

My daughter had her first day in the Juniors (Key Stage 2 for all you modern parents!) today.
I wrote her a letter asking her about her first day (inspired by this thread), and asking her to write back.
We are now planning to write one letter a week to each other (my wife helping her with the envelope), and I'll help her post it. |

I think you're missing the point, there could be some serious Kudos to be had if you write her the right sort of letter
Kind of depends on your GF though. _________________ I have been touched by his noodly appendage. |

Along, long time ago, I wrote letters in French to a Belgian girl whose native language was Flemish, and she spoke no English, while I spoke no Flemish.
the results would no doubt be entertaining to anyone fluent in all 3 languages, but we managed to communicate (I hope).
I remember the heroic efforts of the chap who wrote an English>Portuguese phrasebook, armed with only an English>French dictionary and a french > Portuguese dictionary.
