Just finished reading "Benchmarked: Ubuntu vs Vista vs Windows 7" on Tuxradar.
Fascinating article comparing the OSes for bootup and shutdown, file transfer etc.
As a business user that would be essential info, but is is what we really want to know as home users?
What we really want to know is...
How annoying will Windows 7 be? Is is going to be useable if clunky like XP, or pretty, but as irritating as a jock strap full of fire-ants, like Vista? Or is Ubuntu (or any of the big name distros for that matter) finally going to get a run for it's money?
I hope not, but I would like to see MS produce something worthwhile for a change. |

You can adjust the UAC nagging level in Win 7 and turn it off completely if you feel you don't need nappies any more.
Enjoy the Choice |
