Depends, in Linux, it is usually odd numbers that denote unstable versions.
In windows, it is usually both _________________ The sig between the asterisks is so cool that only REALLY COOL people can even see it!

True enough, but I was entirely underwhelmed by Vista [1] ... and see no reason why the Service Pack 7 experience should be any different
In fact, I think all the nonsense with randomly rearranged icons on the taskbar [2] and no titles on the icons is a retrograde step, even for Windows
Mind you, I think any interface that resembles Windows / MacOS is retrograde anyway - What's the point in re-arranging the deckchairs?

[1] Although I'd really like the ... finally ... functional virtual search-folders feature
[2] Oh, no! ... I've remembered the taskbar! ... Haven't seen one of those on my computers in ... God ... years now - I feel unclean! _________________ Oontz <-- Click Here |
