OSS always pleasantly surprising me

Postby leke » Wed Nov 11, 2009 5:33 pm

There is so much nice OSS out there just waiting to be discovered. It gives me a real buzz when I find something new to play with...

Kdenlive -- Version 0.7.6 -- Using KDE 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2) just installed and played around with it for a day. It's really stable and the KDE UI is just lovely (Check the site for the latest repositories). Here's one I made earlier: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3dVWGKCQBE

I also found Geany IDE. Really fast with some features I've never seen before (scribble pad, in-app terminal, auto syntax completion, auto folding and probably a ton more I haven't discovered).
