Logitech MX3100

Postby Andy » Sat Apr 16, 2005 5:16 pm

Hey everyone,

I just got one the Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combos, which is actually pretty good. Works flawlessly out of the box (including the scroll wheels on both the keyboard and mouse). :D

However, I'd like to be able to program the dozen or so special function keys under Linux. I seem to remember seeing an article about this in LF a while ago, but can't find it amongst my collection. :?

Can anyone give me some pointers on how to go about setting up 'special function' keys under Linux?

For the record I'm using CentOS 4 with no major enhancements or updates, apart from the ATI drivers.

Thanks,

Andy

I recently acquired a multimedia keyboard and have beed looking into getting it working. I found a project called Lineak (Linux support for Easy Access and Internet Keyboards) http://lineak.sourceforge.net/ But, myself, I haven't managed to get it set up properly yet.

Hope this helps,

Dave.
