| I already have a webcam, a Logitech Quickcam Express. It is a few years old. I have tried to install it, but without any sucess. The product ID is 0840 and the vendor ID is 046D. I am currently running Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10. According to the Ubuntu Wiki the qc-usb driver should work, but I could not manage to get it to compile. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. |

Hi imvaughan
Have a read of this thread
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1145330
In particular, post#5 by rapha includes a link that apparently helped him compile a working driver.
Good luck. |
