Pretty long outage on the forums and website.

UKFast outage or someone flick the wrong switch?

Some thing your side of the pond me thinks, tuxradar was also down.

lubuntu LXDE 13.10 running on AMD Phenom II*4; ASUS Crosshair III Formula MB; 4 GB Ram.....

It must have been an exclusive to LXF cos PCPlus was still going

It would be pretty targetted if it effected all of Future Publications don't you think? :P

I thought I'd turn the server off just to keep you folks on your toes. It was exciting, wasn't it?

Well, either that or MySQL decided it had enough of using a sensible level of CPU resources. Apologies for the hassle -- normal service has been resumed :-)

so instead of apache eating all the ram, mysql was drinking all the cpu?
For certain you have to be lost to find the places that can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was

I hadn't noticed any outage - virgin media reassigned my MAC address to another customer, although it took them 30 hours to admit this and fix it. :roll:
